Michele and I started our walk near Kloof Corner. It was a beautiful sunny morning and by the number of cars in the parking area we weren't the only people heading out onto the mountain.
The city was looking good down below us...
while the lower slopes of the mountain were green and lush.
Things were fairly quiet around the lower cable station.
We walked on, long strides along the road. The metalasia in full bloom....
... and the purple muraltia too .
And the proteas also!
We continued our walk up the Saddle path, all the way along the contour path and down Kloof Corner. No photos though, as my silly camera was not cooperating. Very frustrating!
