Fish Hoek Beach, Again

Date: 22 November 2009

Location: Fish Hoek beach, from Clovelly Corner

Walkers: Helen, Dom, Ant, Philip, Joy and all the dogs

Previous stroll on this beach described here. Route here.

We took the dogs for a walk along the length of the Fish Hoek beach from Clovelly Corner, and back again.

The little river from the Silvermine Wetlands was running strongly and was very brown and brackish. Didn't deter the dogs from playing in the water, so much warmer than the sea.

There were a couple of boats on the beach: fishing boats & catamarans.

It was a bit too windy to settle down here, so we went on the Danger Beach in St James which was much more sheltered. Here we lazed in the sun, read, picnicked and had the first glorious swim of the summer!
