Checking in on the Biodiversity Garden

Date: 19 August 2011

Location: Green Point

Walkers: Brenda, Dorothy & Helen

For more walks here look at the Biodiversity Garden archive, here.

As it had been a while since we were last there, we decided to pop into Green Point Park and see how the Biodiversity Garden was doing.

The reeds and grasses in and around the wetlands section have grown well and look very established.

And the beds in the rest of the garden were looking lovely too.

There was a lot in flower and the plants looked so healthy and happy.

We checked progress on the lawn and creepers experiments also.

But mostly just enjoyed this delightful garden.

I loved discovering the park when I was in Cape Town end of July and its one of the places I'm taking my family when we are there at the end of the year.
