Date: 2 April 2010
Location: Lower slopes of
Devil's Peak, from Vredehoek
Walkers: Michele and Helen
Michele and I went to walk on the lower slopes of the Devil's Peak. We set off on the road to left, below the quarry. The wind had got up during the afternoon and boy was it blowing hard up there! It can sometimes be invigorating to walk in a wind but this was just ridiculous. Unpleasant. Cold. I was almost blown off my feet. So we wimped out and turned around.
But not before we caught a glimpse of the Queen Mary II in the harbour. Wow, that is a very big boat!
