(Photo by Helen)I love dried fruit and always feel compelled to try new products. I quite like these new apple rings. They are extremely chewy and the flavour is good, but I'm not mad about the peel being left on - gets tough when dried. We scoffed these on the
Amphitheatre Path in Silvermine.

Dear Helen: what a fabulous blog - your pictures are beautiful. I will be sure to visit often. Thank you so much for the kind comments you left on my food blog - much appreciated. Juno.
Thank you for your wonderful blog. My husband and I are very keen hikers, and following your footsteps is a great help. Thank you too for the flower identification, I am always photographing flowers, but never know what they are called. You are making my hikes so much more interesting.
Thank for the kind words, both of you!
R&T, I encourage you to get a wildflower guide. It is *such* a sense of achievement to correct identify a flower and, believe me, once you start it becomes quite an addiction :)
